Daytona Beach is a great destination and the early part of the year is quite busy with the Rolex 24, Daytona 500, Bike Week, and the weekend of Easter is the Turkey Run classic car show at the Dayton International Speedway.  

For racing and motorcycle enthusiasts the winter/spring season is a great time to get out of the cold and come to Daytona!

Within a 15-minute walk of the beach house is Crabby's Oceanside and Landshark and both have an outdoor patio that overlooks the ocean. 

Excellent food and cocktails!   

Within a 15-minute walk is Congo River miniature golf and golf cart rentals. 

Just 1 mile north of the house is the Ocean Walk Shoppes Entertainment complex with beach shops such as Maui Nix and Sunglass Hut, numerous restaurants and bars including Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, the Mai Tai Bar and Cantina Kitchen.  You can walk 30 minutes up the beach, or take a quick Uber. 

Just a quick Uber ride down to Ponce Inlet, about 6 miles south of the house, you can enjoy a number of great oceanside bars, dolphin sightseeing cruises, fishing charters and THE best Key Lime Pie ice cream at the Lighthouse Ice Cream Shop. A great sunset cruise that is our favorite is the paddleboat Lady Dolphin of Daytona dinner cruise.

How many people can the house accommodate? 

The maximum occupancy is 8 guests. 

Each bedroom is equipped with a Queen size bed and in the living room is a pullout sofa bed. 

Do you allow short-term rentals?

No, due to restrictions by the City of Daytona Beach we are not permitted to rent the property short term.  Therefore, we do not rent to Spring Breakers or those just visiting for weekends. We cater to snowbirds, traveling doctors and nurses, and those who need a comfortable property longer term. 

Do you allow parties? 

We do not allow any loud music, excessive noise, or disruptive behavior especially during quiet hours (e.g., 10 PM–8 AM). 

The maximum number of guests allowed at the property is 8.

Do you allow pets? 

Yes, we are pet lovers and especially dogs! We do allow up to 2 pets (no reptiles).  The backyard is fully fenced and the neighborhood has sidewalks for easy dog walking the Ocean Dunes neighborhood.

A $250 refundable deposit for each pet is required at the time of lease agreement. 

Do you allow smoking? 

Inside the house we do not allow smoking of any kind. Outside on the patio we do allow smoking of tobacco products only and have ashtrays provided. Smoking or consuming illegal substances on the property is strictly prohibited. 

How far away is the beach? 

The beach is just 500 steps away!

Do I need to bring beach chairs? 

We have 4 beach chairs available for guests to use.  On the beach there are vendors where you can rent chaise lounges and an umbrella for $50/day. 

What is included with the rental?

We provide all furnishings including linens, comforters, and towels and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, blender, and a dual carafe/K-cup Keurig coffeemaker, and washer and dryer in the downstairs laundry room. 

All utilities including electric, water, high speed wi-fi, and Youtube TV subscription for watching live TV is included. 

The entertainment/family room has an alcove with an L-shaped desk with file drawers and printer stand.  

What if there is a need to end the lease agreement early? 

We strive to be flexible with tenants, so if you have the need to depart early we ask that you provide us with a minimum of 2-weeks' notice. This allows us to prepare for your departure, schedule any needed maintenance appointments, and then market the property for a new tenant.
